An update on the Member-Nominated Director (MND) selection process

The Trustee Board’s role is to ensure the SCPF is run in accordance with the Fund rules, pensions legislation, and in the best interests of its members. All Directors on the Board have the same duties and perform the same role but some are appointed from the membership. These are known as Member-Nominated Directors (MNDs).

MNDs currently make up half of the Trustee Board. Later this year, the current terms of Moon Hussain and Kaego Uba-Machie will come to an end. Both are eligible to reapply, as Directors can serve up to two four-year terms. As we announced recently, applications are open to anyone interested in becoming an MND.

We recently contacted you to invite applications from anyone interested in becoming an MND.

Next steps

Thank you to everyone who has already applied for the MND roles. We’ll let all members know the outcome later this year – look out for an announcement on the news page of our website: pensions.shell.co.uk
