Their role is to implement our decisions on where and how to invest the Fund’s money to help it grow over time and put them into practice, while carefully managing risk.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EOn 1 October, Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) took over as the new asset manager for the SOCPF, replacing Shell Asset Management Company (SAMCo). This change follows a company restructure, which means SAMCo is no longer providing asset management services to the Fund.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EGSAM is a globally recognised firm with strong experience in managing large investment portfolios. After a detailed selection process, we chose GSAM as the best fit to manage the Fund’s assets.
